The team at John Mee Vac-Ex Hire were delighted to bring smiles to local children’s wards this Easter, as we delivered 100 Easter eggs to the young ones staying in Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw Hospital.
As the sun shone over Doncaster over the long Easter weekend, we wanted the youngsters staying on the children’s ward to be able to enjoy the festivities. Our team contacted the Tesco Extra at Woodfield Plantation in Doncaster, whose staff helped to package the eggs-traordinary order of 100 chocolate Easter eggs. The eggs were then picked up by Karen, Lucy and Liam from the Vac-Ex team, who delivered the Easter surprise to Doncaster Royal Infirmary in time for the bank holiday weekend.
John Mee Construction Ltd, founding company of John Mee Vac-Ex Hire, was established in 1993, and we’ve been proud members of the Doncaster community for nearly 30 years. We’re thrilled to be able to give back to the community like this, especially in such a way which has hopefully brought a smile to the children staying in hospital over the Easter holidays.
Nobody wants to spend time in the hospital, and the pandemic over the last two years has been especially challenging for young ones. That’s why we chose to donate to the Children’s Wards at Doncaster and Bassetlaw: to give back to the community and put a smile on the young patients’ faces during a difficult time, as part of our ongoing charity support.
